CCD Image of Moon showing Lacus Somniorum (The Lake of the Dreamers)

Mare Serenitatis (Sea of Serenity) lies to the south-east. Large crater between the Maria is Posidonius (diam 96km). Two distinct craters within Somniorum are Daniell (diam 24 km) and Grove (diam 26 km). Pair of large craters to NW are Atlas (diam 89 km) and Hercules (diam 72km). The large dark-floored crater towards limb is Endymion (117km).
