Objects Session Notes
- 2 hr session, cut short by developing cloud - CCD operation of -15 degC - main objectives where to acquire images as part of ongoing project on nearby stars and specific variables, and to test recently made enhancements to imaging control software. - opportunity taken to acquire images of M92 and Mizar through small gaps in the cloud near end of the session. - More Notes
Small spiral galaxy unintentionally recorded during short mapping run centered around Vega.

Maffei 1 is a galaxy lying in the plane of the
Milky Way and is largely obscured by dust.
A single 5 minute exposure through Clear filter was obtained (Plan had been to
acquire images in V and I Bands, but due to developing cloud this attempt was
abandoned)
