Objects Session Notes
Bullet C/2006 M4 (Swan) - Comet
Bullet BL Lac - Active Extragalactic Object (Blazer)
Bullet P/2006 HR30 (Siding Spring) - Comet
Bullet Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- HD 5501/5513 (eclipsing variables)
- SS Cyg (dwarf novae)
- Z And (variable)
- BL Lac (BL Lac blazer)
- U And, W And, U Her (Mira variables)
- 2.6 hr session, largely operated under automated control
- CCD operation of -20 degC (at 70% average cooling). Ambient temperature 7 deg.
- session terminated early due to developing cloud
- main objectives were to acquire BVRI images of Mira stars (U Her, U And, W And) as part of ongoing photometric studies, together with follow-up images on C/2006 M4,  BL Lac and M31 Nova (2006 14)
- attempts made to image M31 Nova (2006 14), Palmor 13, and comet 4P/Faye were spoiled by cloud
