Bullet Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- HD 5501/5513 (eclipsing variables)
- SS Cyg (dwarf novae)
- BL Lac (BL Lac blazer)
- U And, W And (Mira variables)
- 2.5 hr session cut short by deteriorating sky conditions
(an earlier session on 2007-01-18 was also cut short, no images were archived)
- CCD operation of -25 degC (at 72% average cooling). .
- main objective was to acquire a final image of Comet C/2006 M4 [Swan]. Whilst an image of the comet was acquired, the comet was by now too dim and sky light too bright to give a good picture and is not shown here.
- the other main objective was to acquire images for photometric monitoring of the variables stars U And, W And and SS Cyg.
- opportunity was taken to acquire an image of a recently discovered supernova in UGC 466 (Cetus)
