- Evening session (6.7hr). 
- Main objectives were to acquire images of certain selected stars of ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis, and take images of comet 8P/Tuttle
- CCD operation of -25 degC (at 64% average cooling). 
- opportunity was also taken to acquire gallery images of certain deep sky objects, and a mosaic of comet 17P/Holmes (now faded) to compare with earlier mosaic images.

M31 part (Andromeda)
An extragalactic nova (M31 2007 11d) was discovered in M31 on 2007/11/16.51 
by Koichi Nishiyama and Fujio Kabashima, an reached an apparent magnitude of +14.9

Image below (2007-12-18.82) was taken 33 days after discovery.
No sign of any object is evident at discovery location (shown by white circle in enlarged image)
Limiting magnitude of image +17.3
