Objects Session Notes
Bullet M51 - Spiral Galaxy (Whirlpool Galaxy)
Bullet Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- W And (mira variables)}

- attempts at U And, U Gem, Z And (failed dew)

- Late Evening Session (4.5 hrs),
- Problems loosing remote connection.  Telescope interfering with wireless signal  in certain orientations ?
- Ambient Temperature  initially 7 deg C, gradually falling to 4 deg C
Problems with Dew.   Hair Dryer had to be used twice.
- CCD operation -25 degC (at 73% average cooling).
- main objective of the session was to perform further fine tuning of the telescope system.   In the event this comprised star drift testing and recollimination with the PEMPro 2.6
- seconary objective of the session was  to acquire images of key selected stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis. In thee event this was hampered by dew conditons
- opportunity taken to acquire some images of M51
