Objects Session Notes
Bullet NGC 6819 - Open Cluster

Bullet Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- SS Cyg (dwarf nova)
- CI Cyg (mira variables)}

- attempts at BL Lac, S Cyg (failed - poor sky transparency/cloud)

- Morning Session (2.5 hrs),
- Operated at Observatory
- Ambient Temperature  1 deg C, then rising to 3 deg C
Thin cloud blocking Southern Sky, cloud developing by dawn
- CCD operation -25 degC (at 63% average cooling).
- main objective of the session was to perform further fine tuning of the telescope system.   In the event this comprised collimation checks.
Attempts to check Backlash using PEMPro 2.6 failed.  Calibration attempts were foiled by cloud in southern sky
- secondary objective of the session was  to acquire images of key selected stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis.
- opportunity taken to acquire flat frames in C, BVR & U filters using Dawn Sky
