NGC 1272 / NGC 1275 - Galaxy Cluster, "Perseus A", Caldwell 24) Variable Stars Photometric Monitoring - Variables - CI Cyg, S Cyg, SS Cyg, AM Her, CY Lyr, DY Per, GK Per, FG Sge, U Sge, V Sge, WZ Sge
Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None Barnards Star attempt (failed due to poor sky transparency)
- Evening session (1.6 hrs), cut short by developing cloud cover - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: 4.5 deg C (minimum) - CCD operation -20 degC (at 59% average cooling). - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis. and to test some new software routines -
