UGC 3218 - Galaxy & Possible Supernova NGC 7048 - Planetary Nebula NGC 2857 - Spiral Galaxy (ARP 1) UGC 7144 - Spiral Galaxy Variable Stars V407 Cyg - Variable Star (Type M+NB) Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, TT Ari, CV_CMi,  SS Cyg, BL Lac, SZ Lyn, GK Per, ER UMa, SU UMa DY Per, Z And, CN Ori, FU Ori, NV Ori, RU Peg attempts (failed due to cloud) Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - DX Cnc, Teegardens Star

- Evening  session (5.8 hrs). - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.  - Ambient Temperature: -3.0 deg C  (minimum) - CCD operation -30 degC (at 63% average cooling).   - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis. - Notes from 2011-01-20 (start-up problems)

UGC 3218 - Galaxy & Possible Supernovae 

UGC 3218 & Possible SN  (Camelopardalis) PSN J05004155+6214386 (Type ?) was discovered 2011/01/19.33 by Lick Observatory Supernova Search Magnitude at discovery +18.0 (Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | Reference Image ) Image below (2011-01-20.82) was taken 1.5 days after discovery. Possible SN  is marked by white cross hair

UGC 7144 - Spiral Galaxy

UGC 7144  (Ursa Major) SN 2011G (Type 1a) discovered 2011/01/08.58 by Lick Observatory Supernova Search (magnitude at discovery +19.1 (+18.7))  is much too faint to be seen in this single frame image (Rochester Supernova site )
