- DX Cnc, Teegardens Star 

 

- Evening  session (5.8 hrs).
- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. 
- Ambient Temperature: -3.0 deg C  (minimum)
- CCD operation -30 degC (at 63% average cooling).  
- main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis.
- Notes from 2011-01-20 (start-up problems)

PSN J05004155+6214386 (Type ?) was discovered 2011/01/19.33 by Lick Observatory Supernova Search
Magnitude at discovery +18.0

Image below (2011-01-20.82) was taken 1.5 days after discovery.
Possible SN  is marked by white cross hair

(magnitude at discovery +19.1 (+18.7))  is much too faint to be seen in this single frame image
