Bullet GSC 3169:2228 - Star Field

Bullet Photometric Monitoring - Variables
- None

Bullet Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars
- None
- Evening session (4.7 hrs duration).  Poor sky transparency
- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.
- Ambient Temperature:  -3.0 degC minimum
- CCD operation -25 degC (at 57% average cooling).
- main objectives of the session was to test out auto-guiding using AO-8 unit and to prepare an effective  return to imaging.
 - focusing
 - focusing offsets for filter
 - polar alignment check

M33 - Spiral Galaxy (Pinwheel Galaxy) - 3.0 mly

M33 (Triangulum)
poor transparency, stars sharp due to good seeing and use of AO-8 unit

Image
CCD Image (Linear Brightness Scale, 75% size)
10 x 180s exposure (average combine), 3x3 binning, C Filter
Autoguided on mag 8 guide star using AO-8
