- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.
- Ambient Temperature:  Temperature fell to minimum of 1 degC before climbing to 3.5 degC at mid-night
- CCD operation -25 degC (at 61% average cooling).
- main objectives of the session was to monitor selected variable stars & nearby stars and to take gallery images of a range of deep sky objects.

UV Per - Variable Star (SS Cygni-type)

UV Per (Perseus)
CVnet reports that this star is in outburst
GCVS Catalog :  Type UGSS, Mag Range +11.0 to +17.5

My original interpretation of the image below was
"The approximate magnitude in the image below is
+9.9 (C) which confirms an outburst".
This assumed however that the catalog position for UV Per
was correct in TheSky !.

UV Per - Later Re-Assessment
After seeing a recent 2018 image the earlier 2014 image is considered
to indeed show UV Per at outburst but at the position marked by the white indicator,
rather than at the catalog position indicated by TheSky6
[ Detailed AAVSO Star Chart for UV Per confirms this correct position]
