AT2020aapw - Extra Galactic Nova in M31 (attempt)

M31 w/Nova AT2020aapw (Andromeda) AT2020aapw (Type: EGN) discovered 2020-11-20.400 UT by ASAS-SN Alias: ASASSN-20om, PNV J00401974+4049360 Magnitude at discovery +16.6 (2020-11-20) but dimmed rapidly to +19.8 (2020-11-25)  ( Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image |  )

M31 w/Nova AT2020aapw, 2020-12-21 (T+31.6d) Image below (2020-12-21.979) was taken 31.6 days after discovery of AT2020aapw Position of reported EGN is shown by white circle. No visual indication of nova, which is presumed to have dimmed to below limiting magntitude (~19.0) This is consistent with dimming reported on 2020-11-25 (+19.8 at T+5.0d)

M31 w/Nova AT2020aapw - Detail, 2020-12-21 (T+5.7d) Position of the reported EGN is shown by white circle. No visual indication of nova, which is presumed to have dimmed to below image's limiting magntitude (~19.0) This is consistent with the dimming reported on 2020-11-25 (+19.8 at T+5.0d)
