NGC 4647 - Spiral Galaxy with Type Ia (? Type Ib) Supernova 2022hrs

NGC 4647 with SN2022hrs (Virgo)
SN 2022hrs (Type: Ia) discovered 2022-04-16.619 UT by Koichi Itagaki
Alias: ATLAS22mip
Discovery Magnitude 15 (Clear Filter)
( Rochester Supernova site | TNS 2022hrs | Forth Image)

Whilst TNS Classification records 2022hrs as a Type Ia SN, spectra taken earlier with
my equipment  (2022-04-27.913) suggest that it is actually a Type Ib SN

NGC 4647 with SN 2022hrs - 2022-05-30 (T+44.4d)
Image below (2022-05-30.970) was taken 44.4 days after discovery of 2022hrs

SN2022hrs Classification
The classification of the spectra from SN 2022hrs was discussed earlier following acquistion of
spectral images taken 2022-04-27, S1004 (see classification discussion)

Although the TNS classification is recorded as Type 1a Supernova, my analysis suggests that
SN 2022hrs it is actually a Type  Ib supernova
due to absence of Si line at 6150 A and presence of distinct (He) absorption line at 5876 A.
