Upgrade to Dimension4, Version 5.31

Dimension4 (D4.exe) which is used for monitoring and updating Computer Time on the observatory computer hasn't been operating efficiently on the Windows 10 computers that have replaced older Windows 7 computers. It has been necessary to remember to start up D4 manually using 'Run As Administrator' after each computer restart   (problem was probably due to D4 not being set to run as a service, resolved when installing v 5.31)

Dimension4  5.0 version (2004) has now been updated to 5.31 (2013) version and setup to run as a service and alway use the server ntp2.uk.uu.net.

This should mean that the Dimension4 will now automatically start up when computer are restarted without user intervention, ensuring that computer time in the observatory is always correct.

Migration to Visual Studio 2022

Visual Studio Community is used to create custom (AstroSuite) VB.Net programs for operating the observatory.   It is thus a critical application.

Microsoft support for Visual Studio 2019 has recently ceased and consequently existing programs need to be moved over to use the latest Visual Studio version (ie VS 2022).
To support this the following tasks are required :

Following the installation of VS 2022 and ASCOM 6.6 Developer Components the full set of AstroSuite programs were compiled, checked and then installed on Development and Observatory Computers (as at 2022-04-24).

Note : VS 2022 has still to be installed on Observatory Computer (as of 2022-04-25) but this isn't critical.
Note:  Observatory Computer was finally taken to VS 2022 on 2022-06-22 as part of resetting up the computer following reinstallation of Windows 10.

Upgrade to ASCOM 6.6

ASCOM Platform upgraded on Development & Observatory Computers today (2022-04-24) from version 6.5 SP1 to the new 6.6 version.

The following installations were made:

- ASCOMPlatform66.exe
- ASCOMPlatform66Developer.exe
- Conform.6.6.8048.17861.setup.exe

Notes:
- DeviceHub noted to be 5.5.1.10 following installation (it was believed to have been 5.5.1.9 before installation).
- Following installation of ASCOM 6.6 the DeviceHub program was updated to 6.6.0.4

Upgrade to DeviceHub 6.6.0.4

DeviceHub upgraded on Development & Observatory Computers today (2022-04-24)  from version 6.5.1.9 / 6.5.1.10 to the new 6.6.0.4 version.

The new version includes the following accumulated changes

6.5.1.10
- Fix Dome Shutter position reporting & disable Open/Close Shutter button when CanSetShutter is False.
- Report the Shutter position only when the shutter is Open.
- Changed default label for Open/Close button to Open Shutter.
- Added test case to ensure that CanToggleShutterState returns false when CanSetShutter is false.

6.6.0.1
- Added U/I support for displaying accumulated move amount for relative and absolute focusers.
- Added direct move amount for relative focusers.
- Updated user guide

6.6.0.2
- Show Wait cursor during Connect operations in case it takes a long time to complete.
- Enhanced circle buttons to change when hovered over or pressed..

6.6.0.3
- Improved error handling in user interface for all 3 devices.

6.6.0.4
- Changed drivers to prevent unconnected clients from changing device properties when the device is already connected via the U/I.
- Changed TelescopeViewModel, DomeViewModel and FocuserViewModel classes to prevent interactive disconnects when there are connected clients.

Trying out 6.6.0.4 it was found that it suffers from an issue whereby after disconnecting all telescope or all dome clients the DeviceHub interface shows that it is still connected to the respective device (telescope or dome).   This would be expected where the Device was connected to from DH first,  but not where the first connection was made from the client application.

Issue was reported to the DeviceHub author on 2022-04-24 (pm)

Update 2022-04-27
A new version (6.6.0.5) issued on 2022-04-27 for testing (see Upgrade to DeviceHub 6.6.0.5).
