21P/Giacobini-Zinner - Comet     M5 - Globular Cluster NGC 6207 - Spiral Galaxy     Photometric Monitoring - Variables    - None     Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars     - None

- Night Session (2 hrs duration). Clear skies, low wind. - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.   - Main aims of the session was to perform TPoint Mapping as part of commissioning the new observatory, but opportunity was taken to acquire images of a few selected deep sky objects - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - Ambient Temperature:  5 degC (minimum) - Notes from 2018-05-17 >>

M5 - Globular Cluster

M5 (Serpens Caput) (Note: Cluster is offset significantly from center of image. This was due to inability of TheSky to PlateSolve frames of M5 area and this prevented automated centering of the telescope)
