37P/Forbes - Comet     Hickson 60 - Galaxy Cluster (PGC 38065 et al) Hickson 81 - Galaxy Cluster (UGC 10319)     NGC 5676 - Spiral Galaxy (Herschel I-189, LGG 384 Member)     Variable Stars (photometric monitoring)     - RX And, U And, DY Per, GK Per, RR Tau       Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring)   - EV Lac, Groombridge 34, Teegardens Star

- Night Session (7.2 hours duration). Clear dark skies until 02:00 when cloud rolled in from SW ending the session early - Generally Fully Automated operation, but dropping to Manual on occasions ( Session was monitored remotely from indoors to observe operations and spot any new or recurrent issues  ) - Main aim of the session was to test a new routine for taking Sky Flats before an observing session taking images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars and deep sky targets. - - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding - Ambient Temperature:  6°C (minimum) - CCD Temperature:  -15°C (down to -19°C ) (82% av. power for -15°C, Sky Flats set) (86% av. power for -15°C set) (100% av power for -20°C set  (-18.7° to -19.2°C) - Notes from 2018-09-08 >>
