Objects Session Notes
Bullet Kn 61 - Planetary Nebula (Attempt)
Bullet Palomar 13 - Globular Cluster
Bullet NGC 6885 - Open Cluster (H VIII-20)

Bullet Variable Stars (photometric monitoring)
  - U And, FG Sge

Bullet Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring)
 - None

- Full night session,  Duration 5.4 hr (net)

Session operated in fully automated mode, with initial monitoring of the 1st target only

- Main aim of the session was general observing with mix of variable stars, nearby stars, comets and deep sky targets, and test integration with updated AstroWeather program which generates Weather Forecast graphs for the observatory, and test the Observatory Manager software for correct and safe operation through a generally cloudy night.

- 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging
- TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging
- Ambient Temperature:  15.0°C  (min) in observatory
(outdoors 1°C cooler,  Dew heaters on manual, ~ 50% power )
- CCD Temperature:  -10°C  (74% av. power)

Palomar 13 - Globular Cluster

Palomar 13 (Pegasus)
Pal 13 is only just visible in this single 60s exposure.
Other frames were affected by passing cloud

Pal 13 is one of the dimmest globular clusters within the Palomar catalog.
 It's apparent diameter of approximately 1.8 arc-minutes
also makes it one of the smallest member of the catalog
