Objects Session Notes
Bullet NGC 7779 - Spiral Galaxy
Bullet NGC 38 - Spiral Galaxy
Bullet UGC 118 & PGC 212483 - Spiral Galaxies (previously with Supernova AT2019B)

Bullet Variable Stars (photometric monitoring)
  - RX And, SS Cyg, BL Lac

Bullet Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring)
 - HH And, 61 Cyg, Groombridge 34, EV Lac

- Post-midnght session,  Duration 2.1 hr

Session operated in fully automated mode, with initial monitoring only (ie 1st target)

- Main aim of the session was general observing with mix of variable stars, nearby stars, comets and deep sky targets, and test integration with updated AstroWeather program which generates Weather Forecast graphs for the observatory.

- 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging
- TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging
- Ambient Temperature:  11.0°C falling to 9.5°C (min) in observatory
(outdoors 1°C cooler,  Dew heaters on auto, ~ 90% power )
- CCD Temperature:  -15°C  (72% av. power)

UGC 118 & PGC 212483 - Spiral Galaxies (previously with Supernova AT2019B)

UGC 118 (NGC 42)  & PGC 212483 with SN 2019B (Pegasus)
SN 2019B (Type II, z=0.021) discovered 2019/01/01.250 by All Sky Automated Survey for SuperNovae (ASAS-SN)
(Rochester Supernova site |  Discovery Image  )
The Rochester site implies that the SN is associated with UGC 118, but another
possibility is that the SN is actually associated with galaxy PGC 212483 as it has a smaller offset.

UGC 118 / NGC 42  & PGC 212483  (Pegasus)
Image below (2019-08-22.10) was taken 232.8 days after SN discovery
SN has faded and is no longer visible
