UGC 12914  &  UGC 12915 - Spiral Galaxies (Taffy Galaxies) NGC 708 - Galaxy Group (The Fath)     Variable Stars (photometric monitoring) - CI Cyg, S Cyg, SS Cyg     Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring) - 61 Cyg

- Short evening session (1.6 hours) cut short by developing clouds / overcast conditions - Main aims of the session were the testing new routines and acquisition of a selection of deep sky targets, together with some variable star, nearby star and comet targets (if conditions allowed) - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: 9°C (min) climbing later as clouds rolled in - CCD Temperature:  -15°C (later -10°C after clouds rolled in) - Notes from 2020-10-13 >>      -

UGC 12914 & UGC 12915 / VV 254 (Pegasus) Vorontsov-Velyaminov Catalogue Alias: Taffy Galaxies, PGC 120 & PGC 129 Guiding issue due to cloud / lost star Target needs to be repeated at a later date
