M57 - Planetary Nebula (Ring Nebula) C/2019 L3 (ATLAS) - Comet AT2020vak - Nova in M31 UGC 1803 - Spiral Galaxy (PGC 9904) NGC 779 - Spiral Galaxy (Herschel I-101) NGC 514 - Spiral Galaxy with Type Ia Supernova 2020uxz UGCA 17 - Spiral Galaxy (PGC 5341) NGC 584 - Elliptical Galaxy (Herschel I-100) UGCA 38 - Spiral Galaxy (PGC 10128) Variable Stars (photometric monitoring) - RX And, TT ARi, CI Cyg, S Cyg, SS Cyg, BL Lac, CY Lyr Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring) - HH And, 61 Cyg, Groombridge 34,
- Short evening session (1.6 hours) cut short by developing clouds / overcast conditions - Main aims of the session were the testing new routines and acquisition of a selection of deep sky targets, together with some variable star, nearby star and comet targets (if conditions allowed) - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: 9°C (min) climbing later as clouds rolled in - CCD Temperature: -15°C (later -10°C after clouds rolled in) - Notes from 2020-10-23 >> -
