Bullet Comet 73/P Schwassmann-Wachmann 3-B (Fragment B)
Bullet Comet 73/P Schwassmann-Wachmann 3-C (Fragment C)
Bullet HD 189733 - Star
- 6 hour session, run mainly under automated script control (weather forecast was sufficiently confident) that I was able to leave the observatory open under the morning. Last part of session was affected by brightening sky as daylight approached.
- main aim was to record images of as many fragments of 73/P Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 as possible

HD 189733 - Star

HD 189733 (Vulpecula)
This star has an extra-solar planet (HD 189733b), whose transit should just be
detectable as a slight dimming of the sol star. This will be a future observing challenge.
