Objects Session Notes
C/2006 M4 (Swan) - Comet UGC 14 - Spiral Galaxy & Supernova 2006sr M31 - Extragalactic Nova: M31 2006 16 NGC 2237 - Nebula (Rosette Nebula) - attempted mosaic Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- HD 5501/5513 (eclipsing variables)
- SS Cyg (dwarf novae)
- BL Lac (BL Lac blazer)
- U And, W And (Mira variables)
- Z And, RU Peg (variables)
- Groombridge 1618 (nearby star)
- AXP Stars
- TrES-2 (exosolar planet sol)
- 7 hr session operated under fully automated control (handy given it was Christmas Day) - CCD operation of -25 degC (at 56% average cooling). . - main objective was to acquire images to monitor brightness chnages in selected variable stars, and acquire follow up images of Nova 16 in M31 and SN 2006sr in UGC 14, and selected Comets. Opportunity was however taken to acquire image mosaics of M48 and M50. - - More Notes -
