NGC 1555 (Hind's Variable Nebula) C/2007 F1 (LONEOS) - Comet Moon Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- SS Cyg (Dwarf Nova)
- BL Lac (Blazar)
- Lalande 21185, Gliese 1111 - DX Cnc (Nearby Stars)
- morning session (2.1 hr) just before dawn CCD operation of -20 degC (at 70% average cooling). - main objective of the session was to acquire an image of the current comet C/2007 (LONEOS), at a point where it just crept above the level of my NE observatory wall before dawn light became too bright.
(evening images are not possible as the comet dips below the level of my W observatory wall by the time it gets sufficiently dark)- opportunity was also taken to acquire images of NGC 1555 for ongoing monitoring and images of the moon and two nearby stars
