Objects Session Notes
NGC 1023 - Elliptical Galaxy (ARP 135) NGC 7753 - Spiral Galaxy with companion (ARP 86) Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring
- SS Cyg (Dwarf Nova)
- BL Lac (Blazar)
- (images of U And, Z And, SZ Her unsuccessful due to cloud)
- evening session, spoilt by intermittent cloud and finally by full cloud cover. CCD operation of -20 degC (at 70% average cooling). - main objective of the session was to acquire an images of selected stars for ongoing astrometric and photometric studies - opportunity was also taken to acquire images of two ARP galaxy objects (NGC 1023 in Perseus & NGC 7753 in Pegasus) for a new gallery collection.
