Objects Session Notes
NGC 4490 - Spiral Galaxy with Supernovae 2008ax NGC 4226 - Spiral Galaxy Astrometric & Photometric Monitoring - RX And, U Mon, DY Per (variables) - attempts on U Gem (cloud)
- Evening Session (1.6hr) - CCD operation of -20 degC
(at 66% average cooling).- main objective of the session was to demonstrate observatory / imaging setup to a fellow member of my local astronomy society. This was achieved despite patchy cloud. - opportunity was taken to acquire images of certain selected stars for ongoing astrometric analysis together with images of a supernova in NGC 4490
