Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None Barnards Star attempt (failed due to poor sky transparency)
- Evening session (5.0 hrs). Sky transparency reducing significantly towards end of session. Dew formation about 2 hours into session - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: -1.0 deg C (minimum) - CCD operation -25 degC (at 56% average cooling). - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis. and to continue testing some new software routines
- autoguding controller
- spectral image focussing- Notes from 2010-11-10
