NGC 4477 - Spiral Galaxy Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, U And, W And, Z And, FS Aur, KR Aur, CV CMi, AM CVn, U Gem, RZ LMi, SZ Lyn, CZ Ori, FO Ori, FU Ori, GK Per, RR Tau, SU Tau, GK Per, RR Tau, SU Tau, ER UMa, SU UMa - U Gem, RS CVn attempt (aborted cloud and.or windshake)
Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None
- Early evening session (2.8 hrs), - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: 3.0°C (minimum) - CCD operation -25°C (at 67% average cooling). - main objectives of the session was to acquire images of selected project stars for ongoing photometric analysis.
NGC 4477 / Herschel
II-115 (Coma Berenices) smaller spiral galaxy to bottom left is NGC 4479 image unfortunately affected by wind shake/poor seeing |
CCD Image (50% size) 2 x 90sec exposure (average combine), 3x3 binning, C Filter 2011-03-01 23:25 h UT (#460197-98) 12" LX200R (at f/9.7) + ST-10XME |
