Objects Session Notes
C/2009 P1 (Garradd) - Comet M101 - Spiral Galaxy with Supernova 2011fe Photometric Monitoring - Variables - None
- R CrB attempt (failed due to cloud)Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None
- Barnards Star attempt (failed due to wind)
- Short evening session (0.6 hrs), cut short due to cloud & wind - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: 13.5°C (minimum) - CCD operation -20°C (at 86% average cooling). - main objective of the session to obtain follow-up images of bright supernovae in nearby galaxy M101 secondary objective was to image project stars for ongoing photometric analysis
