- Evening session (7.4 hrs duration).  
- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.  
- Ambient Temperature:  0°C minimum
- CCD operation -25°C (at 56% average cooling).  First 256 images at % cooling !
- Main objectives of the session was to continue preparations towards an effective  return to imaging

Nova Del 2013 - Nova (V339 Del)

Nova Del 2013 (Delphinus)
Nova Delphini was discovered on 14th August 2013 by Japanese observer Koichi Itagaki at magnitude +6.8. 
Koichi had imaged the same field the day before and nothing was visible at the same location.
The progenitor star was identified from archive images as being magnitude +16.9
Alias:  V339 Del
 
Nova Del 2013  - 2014-10-29 (T+441d)
taken 441 days after discovery when nova had faded to around ~ +13.1
(NB poor sky transparency)

NGC 2771 with supernova ASASSN-14iu (Ursa Major)
ASASSN-14iu (Type Ia,  z=0.016855) was discovered 2014/10/12.610 
by All Sky Automated Survey for SuperNovae (ASAS-SN)
at magnitude +15.8
Located 1.3" west and 0.8" north of the center of NGC 2771
(Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image )

The image below was taken 16.3 days after discovery 
The supernova position is indicated by white markers.
The image is unable to resolve the Supernova separately to the galaxy centre.
The combined measured brightness of supernova + galaxy center is +12.8
