AC Her - Variable Star (RV Tauri type) HD 165029 - A0V Star HIP 81693 - Binary Star (40-Zeta Herculis, Struve 2084) Barnard 72 - Dark Nebula IC 4665 - Open Cluster M94 - Spiral Galaxy Photometric Monitoring - Variables - R CrB, CI Cyg, S Cyg, SS Cyg, BL Lac, RZ LMi, DY Per Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - CN Leo
- All Night session (4.9 hrs duration)
- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: tube temperature fell to -3.0°C (minimum) - CCD operation -30°C (at 65% average cooling). - Planned objectives of the session were to monitor selected variable stars & nearby stars and to take Spectral images. -

HIP 81693 / 40-Zeta Herculis / Struve 2084 - detail Components are very difficult to space. All 3 frames taken with 0.12s exposure indicate an asymmetry in the star. The frame below suggests a second star is present with an estimated spacing of 2-3 pixels from the brightest one (equivalent to 1.5 to 2.5 arc secs) Catalog details for Struve 2084, A: Mag +3.0, B: Mag +6.5 |
