Objects Session Notes
- Late night session (3.0 hrs duration)
- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: temperature gradualy falling to minimum of -1.0°C (minimum) by end of session - CCD operation -30°C (at 76% average cooling). - Planned objectives of the session were to monitor selected variable stars & nearby stars and acquire images of selected gallery objects. -
C/2015 F5 (SWAN-Xingming) - attempted imaging (passing through Auriga) Forecast position of comet is indicated by white circle. No indication of comet at either this location or elsewhere on image. Limiting magnitude of image +17.5 vs forcast magnitude of +10.5 |
