81/P Wild - Comet NGC 2943 - Spiral Galaxy NGC 2988 / NGC 2991 - Spiral Galaxies NGC 3162 - Spiral Galaxy UGC 3738 - Spiral Galaxy (SN 2016ys attempt) Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, U And, Z And, SS Cyg, U Gem, BL Lac, SZ Lyn, CN Ori, CZ Ori, FO Ori, FU Ori, NV Ori, DY Per, GK Per, ER UMa Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None
- Evening session (3.0 hrs duration). Clear skies. Wind 3-6 mph. - Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer. - Ambient Temperature: -2.0°C (minimum) - CCD operation -30°C (at 63% average cooling). - Planned objectives of the session were to monitor selected variable and nearby stars. Images were also taken of some comets and galaxies in Leo. Unfortunately the current bright comet, C/2013 US10 (Catalina), lay above hard-coded declination limit (where camera would be in danger of hitting the mount's fork base). Images affected by wind shake.
