- Failed Attempts:
CN Ori, NV Ori
Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - Ross 248 (HH And), EV Lac, Groombridge 34
- Night Session (8.7 hours duration) .
Largely clear but not perfect. Conditions deteriorated after 01:00 UT (02:00 LT), increase in wind and eventually cloud.- Main aim of the session was to take images of a selection of deep sky objects (mainly star clusters from Herchel 400), variable stars & nearby stars. - Session was mainly conducted as a fully Automated operation - - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: 13°C (minimum) until 00:00 UT, then rising to 15°C from 01:00 UT onwards. - CCD Temperature: -10°C (75% av. power) - Notes from 2018-10-20 >>
