Objects Session Notes
C/2018 N2 (ASASSN) - Comet Variable Stars (photometric monitoring) - RX And, Z And, TV Cas, S Cyg, SS Cyg, AM Her, BL Lac, CY Lyr, DY Per, GK Per, FG Sge, X Tri Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring) - HH And, Groombridge 34
- Teegardens Star attempt failed (due to cloud)
- Night session (4.9 hours)
Session operated in fully automated mode with monitoring during the first 2 hours
- Main aim of the session was to take images of selected comets & deep sky targets and to checkout bug fixes to AstroMain / AstroGuard, and use observatory in 'RainTrim' mode for first time. - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: Dropping from 10.5°C to 7.0°C (min) before climbing later to 9°C as cloud developed
(Dew heaters on automated)- CCD Temperature: -15°C (66% av. power) - Notes from 2019-10-11 >>
