2007 XH16 - 8.1 LD (Dec 2007)

2007 XH16 is a 565m diameter asteroid which passed by the earth on 2007-12-24 at a distance of 8.1 lunar distance (LD). A sequence of images of 2007 XH16 were recorded streaking through a star field in Aries

2006 VV2 - 8.8 LD (Mar 2007)

Images taken of 2006 VV2 on 2007-04-01, shortly after it passed by earth on 2007-03-31 at a distance of 8.8 LD (lunar distance).
The slight wobble in the trace of MPL 2006 VV2 is due to small residual periodic error of +/-2.5 arc secs in the LX200 scope, as shown by simulation
