Objects Session Notes
- 2 hr 20m session - bright sky due to astronomical twilight conditions. moon 47% phase at 6 to 22 deg altitude - main aim was to acquire images of selected nearby stars for ongoing proper motion / parallax studies and images of SS Cyg for ongoing variable star studies - opportunity was taken to acquire improved image of M106, follow up images of SN 2006bp, and positioning tests on HD 209458 and HD 5501 which will be subject of future detailed studies. - More Notes -
Astrometric measurements made, as part of a ongoing study to attempt to measure proper
motion and annual parallax of 61 Cygni.

Two Anomalous X-ray pulsers (AXPs), 4U 0142+615 and 1E 2259+586 (both lying in Cassiopeia) were checked for brightening. No indication of activity was observed at location of either AXP. [AXP stars project]
