NGC 7789 - Open Cluster Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, U And, W And, HR Aur, KR Aur, S Cyg, SS Cyg, AM Her, BL Lac, CY Lyr, FG Sge, U Sge, V Sge, RR Tau
RX And, Z And, TT Ari, DY Per, RU Peg Attempts (failed due to frost on lens, windshake or moonlight)Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - Barnards Star 61 Cyg
HH And, Groombridge 34 Attempts (failed due to frost on lens)
- Evening session (4.1 hr). Difficult conditions, slight wind at times, condensation/frost forming on front corrector lens , requiring hair dryer - Session operated under semi-automated control with remote monitoring - Ambient Temperature: Initially 0.5 degC falling to -2.0 degC minimum by end of session - CCD operation -25 degC (at 53% average cooling). - main objective of the session was to acquire images of key selected stars for ongoing photometric and astrometric analysis. - opportunity taken to acquire images of the open cluster NGC 7789
