Nova Del 2013 (Delphinus) Nova Delphini was discovered on 14th August 2013 by Japanese observer Koichi Itagaki at magnitude +6.8. Koichi had imaged the same field the day before and nothing was visible at the same location. The progenitor star was identified from archive images as being magnitude +16.9 Alias: V339 Del |
