- Session operated under semi-automated control, with remote monitoring from indoors computer.
- Main objective of the session was to take images of NGC 4051 and M53 with my 12" LX200 in NE Scotland to compare with those submitted for acquisition by the robotic 2m Liverpool Telescope in La Palma
- Ambient Temperature:  1.0°C minimum
- CCD operation -30°C (at 75% average cooling).

2200m above sea level  in La Palma, Canary Islands

The LT is a 2 metre Cassegrain reflector, with Ritchey-Cretien hyperbolic optics,
on an alt-azimuth mount.  It is a fully robotic astronomical telescope owned and
operated by the Astrophysics Research Institute of Liverpool John Moores University

Image was requested via National Schools Observatory website
at a Practical Session Meeting of the Aberdeen Astronomical Society (AAS)
held on 2014-03-11  at RGC Aberdeen
Session was titled "How to make the most of professional telescopes"
and was led by Tim Browett, AAS member and Teacher of Physics & Astronomy
