Objects Session Notes
EV Lac - Nearby Star (GJ 873) GK Per - Variable Star Groombridge 34 - Nearby Double Star - 11.7 ly NGC 7094 - Planetary Nebula Photometric Monitoring - Variables - None
(GK Per attempt failed due to centering issue)Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - EV Lac, Groombridge 34
- Night Session (1.7 hrs duration).
Clear summer twilight skies, low wind- Session conducted as a Fully Automated Run, in which the Observatory Control Program opened the Observatory, built and executed an optimised Observing Plan before finally closing the Observatory at the end of the night
(Session was monitored from both in the observatory and remotely to check that things were proceeding ok and intervene if necessary)- Main aim of the session was to test the Clair 3 Observatory running in Fully Automated Mode. Secondary aim was to acquire images of a selection of targets.
