Objects Session Notes
37P/Forbes - Comet NGC 6804 - Planetary Nebula (PLN 45- 4.1) Photometric Monitoring - Variables - RX And, U And, Z And, TT Ari, CI Cyg,
BL Lac, CY Lyr, DY Per, GK Per, ER UMa
SS Her attempt failed due to CCD frosting
Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - Ross 248 (And HH), 61 Cyg, Groombridge 34, Teegardens Star
- Night Session (4.1 hours duration). - Fully Automated operation (Session was monitored remotely from indoors to observe and intervene if required). - Main aim of the session was to acquire images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars, star clusters and deep sky targets. Secondary aims were to test transfer and reporting of AllSky Cloud Measurements for current and next targets, and confirm other code was working as expected. - - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding - Ambient Temperature: 6°C (minimum) - CCD Temperature: -15°C (77% av. power) & -20°C (85% av. power) - Notes from 2018-08-30 >>
