- Night Session (3.5 hours duration).
- Fully Automated operation  (Session was monitored remotely from indoors to observe and intervene if required).
- Main aim of the session was to acquire images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars, star clusters and deep sky targets. Secondary aims were to test recent software fixes & modifications of the Observatory Control Program (CCDApp2).

NGC 6803 - detail
NGC 6803 lies at centre of image below, but it appears
very stellar like with no indication of it being a Pl. Neb

NGC 6803 - spectroscopic image
Compared to adjacent stars which display normal spectroscopic continuums
NGC 6803's spectrum is very different and comprises two principal points
of high intensity which is typical of planetary nebula whose light is principally
made up of emission lines at just a few discrete wavelengths
(in the boxes below zero order image it on the left whilst 1st order image lies to the right).
The 1st order image of NGC 6803 with two principle points of lights is overlaid
onto the zero order image of an adjacent star.
