Astrometric Monitoring - Nearby Stars - None
- Night Session (7.2 hours duration).
Cloud interrupted the session on several occasions- Main aim of the session was to acquire images of a selection of variable stars, nearby stars and deep sky targets. Secondary aims were to test recent software fixes & modifications of the Observatory Control Program (CCDApp2). - Fully Automated operation (First part of the Session was monitored remotely from indoors to observe operations and spot any new or recurrent issues before retiring to bed whilst the session continued unattended until dawn. ) - - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding - Ambient Temperature: 7°C (minimum) - CCD Temperature: -15°C (82% av. power) - Notes from 2018-09-04 >>
