Objects Session Notes
NGC 4157 - Spiral Galaxy NGC 5473 - Elliptical Galaxy (H I-231) Variable Stars (photometric monitoring) - V Sge Nearby Stars (astrometric monitoring) - None
- Attempted full night session, but the imaging interval was relatively short (0.8 hours)
Session operated in fully automated mode with some interventions & monitoring
- Main aim of the session was to test new version of AstroMain following refactoring of key routine (TakeFrameJobsQSO) and other changes and additions.
Conditions relatively poor with wind and long intervals of cloud. Session terminated earlier thn expected due to a limitation of the logic used by Obs.Manager.- 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: Falling to 11°C (min).
Outdoors 10°C (min)
(Dew heaters on manual, 50% & 90%)- CCD Temperature: -10°C (61% av. power) - Notes from 2019-09-06 >>
