- Night Session (0.6 hours total).
- Main aims of the session was to test new version of AstroMain and acquire useful images if possible. - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: Mild night, 10°C (min) - CCD Temperature: -15°C - Notes from 2020-05-31 >>
IC 1222 with SN 2020enm (Hercules) IC 1222 (catalog mag +13.4), aliases ARP 73, PGC 58544 SN 2020enm (Type Ia-99a SN) discovered 2020/03/16.913 by Xingming Observatory Sky Survey (XOSS) (Rochester Supernova site | Discovery Image | mag +17.7 V at discovery ) |
IC 1222 with SN 2020enm - 2020-05-31 (T+76.1d) Image (2020-05-31.988) taken 76.1 days after SN discovery. SN is not visible in this relatively low S/N image and probably because the SN has dimmed since last observation. SN is below limiting magnitude ~18.3 |
Annotated CCD Image (100% size, square root scale, cropped) 4 x 180s exposure (average combine), 3x3 binning, C Filter 2020-05-31 23:43 UT (#788017-20) 12" LX200R (at f/10.4) + ST-10XME Auto-guided using TS 80mm APO, ZWO ASI178MC & PHD2 |
