AT 2025srn - 2025-08-15 (T+15.7d) Image below (2025-08-15.111) was taken 15.7 days after discovery of 2025srn Position of reported transient (not visible) is shown by white cross-hairs Non-Detection Limiting Magnitude +18.6 (Clear Filter) It is suspected that transient object detected by GEOTS was most probably a minor planet (which would explain the MP designation in Rochester data file). This seems to be confirmed by a comment that was added to TNS page by Balaji Kumar on 2025-07-31 "(179) Klytaemnestra asteroid detected at the transient's location". |
