AT 2025srn - Type MP Transient / Minor Planet (non-detection)

AT 2025srn (Pegasus)
AT 2025srn (Type: MP) discovered 2025-07-30.421 UT by GEOTS
Alias: GEOTS-Balaji-2025-08, TCP J23501909+1036467, 179 Klytaemnestra
Discovery Magnitude 11.9 (Clear Filter)
vs Prior Non-Detection Limiting Magnitude 18.0
(179) Klytaemnestra asteroid detected at the transient's location.
 ( TNS 2023cuz | Gaia23bar)

AT 2025srn - 2025-08-15 (T+15.7d)
Image below (2025-08-15.111) was taken 15.7 days after discovery of 2025srn
Position of reported transient (not visible) is shown by white cross-hairs
Non-Detection Limiting Magnitude +18.6 (Clear Filter)

It is suspected that transient object detected by GEOTS was most probably
a minor planet (which would explain the MP designation in  Rochester data file).  This seems
to be confirmed by a comment that was added to TNS page by Balaji Kumar  on 2025-07-31
"(179) Klytaemnestra asteroid detected at the transient's location".
