AT 2021aesn - CV Type Transient (discovered 2021-11-14)  (Attempt)

AT 2021aesn (Cetus)
AT 2021aesn (Type: CV) discovered 2021-11-14.136 UT by Gaia
Alias: Gaia21fec
Discovery magnitude 14.59 (G-Gaia) vs Historic Mag 20.67
5.5 mag outburst in CV candidate ASASSN-13bd
CV had fallen back to mag 20.60 on 2021-12-19 (T+35d)
A further outburst was recorded by Gaia approximately
 one year later ( 2022-12-29, mag 14.62)
 ( TNS 2021aesn | Gaia21fec )

AT 2021aesn - 2021-11-19 (T+5.7d)
Image below (2021-11-19.845) was taken 5.7 days after discovery of 2021aesn
Position of reported transient (not visible) is shown by white cross-hairs

Gaia Measurements (from Gaia21fec) indicate that CV Candidate had dimmed back to
historic levels by T+35.5d. But with no measurements between T+0.25d and T35.5d
there is uncertainity over the rate at which the CV Candidate dimmed.

From the image below it is likely that star had returned to close to
historic levels by T+5.7d and this indicates that the dimming was fairly quick.

AT 2021lwx - Type AGN Transient (discovered 2021-04-13) in Unnamed Galaxy (Attempt)

AT 2021lwx (Vulpecula)
2021lwx (Type: AGN) discovered 2021-04-13 10:55.51 UT by ZTF
Discovery Magnitude 18.05 (r-ZTF Filter)

Event was reported on BBC Website on 2023-05-12
"Astronomers detect largest cosmic explosion ever seen"
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-65571309
The explosion is more than 10 times brighter than any recorded
exploding star - known as a supernova. So far it has lasted more than three years, much longer than
most supernovae which are usually only visibly bright for a few months. One theory is that
the blast was caused when a vast cloud of gas was swallowed up by a black hole.
