- 2.0 hour session, slight wind, ambient temperature 12 degC
- Sky conditions deteriorated after 1.75 hours and forced the session to eventually
finish
- Aim of session was to record follow-up images on RR Lyrae (RR Lyrae type
variable) and Delta Cepheid (Cepheid variable)
- Opportunity was taken to record images of Ross xxx and monitor AXP stars in
Cassiopeia

As part of a study to attempt to measure proper motion and annual parallax of 61 Cygni more detailed images were recorded at 1x1 binning (initial baseline images during session S95 on 2005-09-30 were at 2x2 binning and would be less accurate)

As part of a study to attempt to measure proper motion and annual parallax of Gamma Draconis detailed images were recorded at 1x1 binning (initial baseline images during session S95 were only at 2x2 binning ) . Unfortunately the 5 sec exposure images (through V filter) were too faint to record sufficient USNO B stars for providing a plate solution. Thus no astrometric positions were recorded for Gamma Draconis. Future attempt will be made with a longer exposure image.

Ross 248 (or HH And) lies around 10.3 light years
from the sun. It is a main sequence red dwarf and is variable in
brightness.
Baseline images were recorded at 1x1 and 2x2 binning, in order to monitor for
annual parallax and proper motion.

One set images of RR Lyr were recorded through B, V & R filters. Developing cloud caused the session to be aborted preventing the recording of a second / third sets.

Magnitude Comparison (B & V Filters) for images taken 3 days apart 2005-10-02 21:03h UT & 2005-10-05 19:45h UT RR Lyr shows dimming in B & V bands (also in R) Besides dimming RR Lyr shows a slight colour change. B-V graph shows that the star becomes less blue (ie colder) when it is dim. RR Lyr has a period of around 13 1/2 hrs and thus would be expected to have dimmed and brightened several times between observations |

Two Anomalous X-ray pulsers (AXPs), 4U 0142+615 and 1E 2259+586 (both lying in Cassiopeia) were checked for brightening. No indication of activity was observed for either AXP.
