M67 (Taurus) |
M67 - Total Exposure 10s (1 x 10s) |
CCD Image (70% size) 10s exposure (single frame), 3x3 binning, C Filter 2017-01-18 02:16h UT (#599053) 12" LX200R (at f/10.4) + ST-10XME |
M67 - Total Exposure 90s (3 x 30s) |
CCD Image (70% size) 3 x 30s exposure (average combine), 3x3 binning, C Filter 2017-01-18 02:21h UT (#599061-64) 12" LX200R (at f/10.4) + ST-10XME |
M67 - Total Exposure 164s (82 x 2s) Best 82 frames from 200 Stacked and Displayed in CCDSoft (Frames selected using CCD Inspector & Stacked in CCDSoft. DeepSkyStacker unable to recognise sufficient stars for alignment prior to stacking) Stars are sharper in this 'Lucky Seeing' image than in the 90s (3x30s) traditional CCD image above, but is much more affected by poor flat fielding and/or affected by dew build-up on the front corrector lens. |
CCD Image (70% size) 82 x 2s exposure (average combine), 3x3 binning, C Filter 2017-01-18 02:21h UT (#599066-264) 12" LX200R (at f/10.4) + ST-10XME |
M67 - Total Exposure 164s (82 x 2s) Best 82 frames from 200 Stacked and Displayed in DeepSkyStacker Frames aligned using CCDSoft and then stacked (without alignment) in DeepSkyStacker (DeepSkyStacker unable to recognise sufficient stars for alignment prior to stacking |
