- CN Leo attempt failed (due to cloud)
- All night session (11 hours) - Main aims of the session were acquisition of a selection of deep sky targets, together with some variable star, nearby star and comet targets (if conditions allowed) - 12" LX200 + ST-10XME for imaging - TS 80mm APO + ZWO ASI178MC for guiding & imaging - Ambient Temperature: 9°C (min) climbing later as clouds rolled in - CCD Temperature: -15°C - Notes from 2020-11-03 >> -

NGC 3643 (Leo) Earlier images of NGC 3643 (May 2020) have shown SN 2020hvf (Type 1a) discovered 2020/04/21.380 by ATLAS (Rochester Supernova site | Marc Deldman image | Robin Leadbetter image + spectra ) |
NGC 3643 - 2020-11-04 (T+196.8d) Image below (2020-11-04.201) was taken 196.8 days after discovery of SN 2020hvf Although image is of relativley poor quality there is no indication of any object at former position of SN (indicated by white cross hairs). It is appears that the SN has now faded to below detectable limits. |
